No, it might not technically qualify as a GENOCIDE...but it's close. Some weekend viewing for you. Have a peaceful weekend.

This woman is such a loser. Stop firing rockets and blowing yourselves up. Israel will go away. While you're at it, stop dressing up like women and hiding in churches. Stop hiding in civilian populations and civilians won't be killed. Maybe Hamas and Fatah will stop killing each other and civilians won't get hurt.

Palestine has been occupied for 58 years (and counting). It took until the 80's before Palestinians realized that nobody was going to help them and that Israel was NOT going to go away....which is where the first intifada came in.

The goal is to completely, ethnically cleanse ALL of Palestine of Palestinians. This TV program shows this quite sadly and clearly.

Slowly, but undeniably, the old will die and the young will die...period.

Boo hoo. The Palestinians are a bunch of murdering cowards. Too bad they are so stupid that they kicked a gift horse in the mouth every time they were offered one.

Martha,

I'm sorry but I do not support your comment above regarding the Holocaust, I don't believe it's necessary to stoop to that level to mount an argument. I on the other hand will use the very words of David Ben Gurion himself (the first Israeli Prime Minister) to respond to his/her comment that "[we] are so stupid that [we] kicked a gift horse in the mouth":

"If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp. 121-122.

Stolen what country? So-called Palestinians included Jews who lived there since time began and immigrants from Egypt, Syria, TransJordan and whoever else could pour in. There was no country "Palestine." It's interesting that ignoramuses like Martha support the "cause." Martha, guess what? A lot of other people besides Jews were killed in the Holocaust.

Before Sir Issac Newton discovered gravity, did gravity not exist?

The people of the region of Palestine existed, they had not only a historical connection to the land but a contemporary one as well! Palestine was a multi ethnic, multi religious region. Indeed the region of Palestine was the original melting pot.

Israel was created on top of these people, on top of the lands which they had tilled for time immemorial.

As a land bridge between continents the region of Palestine was home to many people's of different languages and religions who each influenced her character. My family heritage goes back to the Canaanites who incidentally were slaughtered by the Israelites as they came up from Egypt, because God told them to.

p.s. ...by the way, what's the deal with all of this anonymous commenting, if you've got something to say put your name to it...

"My family heritage goes back to the Canaanites who incidentally were slaughtered by the Israelites as they came up from Egypt, because God told them to." - Fool, if your family was slaughtered by the Israelites, you wouldn't be here. There are no traces of the Canaanites anymore. -Disease, war and mingling of populations has resulted in their trace being lost. Israelis have been there from time immemorial as the oldest book in the world attests to. Even the latecomer, the Koran, acknowledges Abraham. Census reports from Turkey and England verify that most of the people who now call themselves "Palestinian" were from other regions. Of course, there were some people living in the region before the British arrived, but they lived in extreme poverty. When the British and Zionists arrived, the population grew for economic reasons.

Wow anonymous...if that's your 'real' name (can I call you anon??),

For someone who is NOT willing to put a name to your comment you are certainly making some sweeping claims with no references!

"Of course, there were some people living in the region before the British arrived". Uhhh, yeah, those would be the 'so called' Palestinians...duhh...my family included among them.

"Census reports from Turkey and England verify that most of the people who now call themselves "Palestinian" were from other regions" You're making that one up, right? ...references please...

Canaanites were slaughtered, obviously not my family...

After leaving Iraq and going through Egypt, Jews arrived and have been in Palestine since then, that I agree. But when the British arrived they (the Jewish Palestinians) were only 5% of the population. 15% were Christian and the remaining 80% were Muslim.

According to Sir James Frazer, the majority of Palestinian Arabs are descendants of the ancient Jebusites and Canaanites. In 1902, he wrote in his book The Golden Bough:

"The Arabic-speaking peasants of Palestine are the progeny of the tribes which settled in the country before the Israelite invasion. They are still adhering to the land. They never left it and were never uprooted from it."

The genetic profile of the Palestinians which has been studied [.PDF] supports Sir James Frazer claims.

Now who's the fool? Stop regurgitating the propaganda you've been fed. Educate yourself on the history and the facts. Palestinians had nothing to do with European anti-semitism that the Jews were running away from, yet they are being forced to pay.

Abu-Issa, is that a Syrian name??? Who is Sir James Frazer? Somebody no one has ever heard of and wrote about religion, not history. Palestinians before the British included Jews - Everyone called themself a "Palestinian" at the time the British arrived. Most of the people who came after the British arrived were from other countries- Syria, TransJordan, Egypt. There are Turkish and British census records to support this. Historical records do not support that most people who now call themselves Palestinians were originally from the area. The oldest book in the world and historical records and archaeology support that the Jews did come from the area now called Israel and Gaza and the West Bank. Facts are not propoganda.

The Golden Bough was written 100 years ago and has been widely discredited.
